About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Dietitian to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the development of our Adult Learning Disability (ALD) Dietetic Service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to dietetic staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement effective service development plans, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the ALD Dietetic Service, including staff recruitment, retention, and deployment.
  • Maintain a highly specialist clinical caseload, providing comprehensive assessments and interventions to patients with complex needs.
  • Provide expert dietetic advice, teaching, and training to other staff members, both clinically trained and otherwise.
