Job Summary

Oxford Biomedica is a leading CDMO, providing innovative solutions for biotechnology companies. We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Laboratory Technician Assistant to join our Laboratory Management Team.

This role is responsible for supporting laboratory activities, including waste management, stock control, and equipment maintenance. You will work closely with the team to ensure a compliant and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove and decontaminate clinical waste from laboratory suites.
  • Prepare and maintain disinfectant solutions according to correct concentrations.
  • Collect and clean used laboratory glassware and general items.
  • Maintain consumable stock levels for laboratories.
  • Perform regular cleaning of laboratories and associated equipment.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of GCSE grade 4-9 in English and Mathematics or equivalent level.
  2. A good standard of English both written and spoken.
  3. The ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  4. A team player mentality with a positive and willing approach.

Salary Range: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience.
