Job Description
Venrec is seeking an experienced Receptionist and Office Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and staff. This includes managing appointments, taking calls, and maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage practice appointments system
- Take calls from patients and pharmacies
- Deal with confidential information
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Manage requests for appointments and visits
- Deal with repeat prescription queries and requests
- Filing, scanning
- Deal with staff and patient requests
- Liaise with Ambulance service
- Escalate complaints
- Register new patients
- Organise referrals to District Nurses
- Take payments for non NHS services
- Maintain reception area
- Relay patient results
Requirements
We require an individual with previous administration experience, excellent communication and time management skills, and the ability to follow instructions and processes. We offer a competitive salary of £15-20 per hour, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
