Job Title: Senior Ethics Advisor

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

  • Manage and deliver relevant projects for enhancing bioethics approaches in Wellcome's strategic research areas.
  • Undertake research, analysis, and synthesis of evidence on bioethics developments to inform Wellcome's strategic activities.
  • Facilitate engagement and networking with funded platforms, networks, and grantees.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree or equivalent qualification in ethics, philosophy, health-related social sciences, or medical humanities is desirable.
  • Substantial knowledge of current trends in bioethics and the ethical and social issues arising from biomedical research.
  • Experience using research methods to design and deliver research projects.
  • Programme and/or project management skills.
