We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our Commercial department, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing new and existing client relationships in the export market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve business growth targets in the export market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the export industry.
- Collaborate with the Commercial and Operations teams to deliver sales targets and drive business growth.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends in the export market.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the export market, including industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade fairs to build relationships and promote our services.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and market research in our CRM system.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Commercial Director and other stakeholders.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field with a strong track record of success.
- Strong understanding of the export market and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
