We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Team Leader to join our team at Thomas Henshaw Court in Southport. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality catering services and has previous experience in a similar role.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications such as an intermediate or level 3 food hygiene certificate and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. They will also have the ability to work effectively in a pressured environment and maintain compliance with food safety and health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Deputise for the Chef Manager and manage all aspects of catering within the location.
  • Supervise the catering assistants on shift and ensure that they are performing their duties effectively.
  • Minimise waste when preparing meals and use equipment correctly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Intermediate or level 3 food hygiene certificate.
  • Health & safety legislation including control of substances harmful to health (COSHH) and food safety standards.
