Kitchen Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced kitchen specialist to join our team at Connell Court Care Home. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen environment and contribute to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

About the Role:

  • Meet the nutritional and dietary needs of residents, preparing and cooking meals that cater to various tastes and preferences.
  • Comply with policy and procedures as stated in the Food Safety Manual, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and implement effective Hazard Analysis to prevent contamination and ensure food quality.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in catering or City & Guilds Level 2 qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a care environment or restaurant/pub.
  • Able to maintain accurate records and audits in accordance with the Food Safety Manual.

Package and Details:

£13.19 per hour, paid weekly. Benefits include company pension, bereavement leave, discounted or free food, employee discount, free parking, and transport links.

Work Schedule:

10 hours per shift, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for weekend availability. Estimated annual salary: £27,611.20.
