Head Chef Job Opportunity - Newtown Primary School

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our team at Newtown Primary School in Shropshire.

Your Role:

  1. Plan and prepare nutritious meals for students and staff
  2. Manage kitchen stock and supplies effectively
  3. Lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve excellent results
  4. Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and presentation
  5. Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

Essential Requirements:

  • DBS clearance
  • Permanent contract
  • Term-time only plus additional cleaning days
  • Monday-Friday working pattern, 9am-2pm

Salary and Benefits: £12.38 - £12.59 per hour, equivalent to Grade 5, plus a range of benefits
