About the Role

The NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (125) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the development and delivery of trauma-informed training across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver training programs that promote trauma-informed practice and support the organization's commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Work closely with the Safeguarding Team and Lancashire Violence Reduction Network to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including senior representatives, patients, and their families, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff in identifying learning needs and developing training programs that meet those needs.
  • Evaluate training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage and maintain an overview of the trauma-informed training program, including tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, ideally in a relevant subject area such as trauma-informed practice.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership working.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
