Education Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Education Support Specialist to join our team at a Primary School in Sunderland. You will support teachers in the classroom, work with small groups or individual students, and help create a positive learning environment for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
- Supporting students' learning, especially those needing extra help.
- Providing one-on-one and group support as needed.
- Helping to monitor student progress and behaviour.
- Contributing to a safe and positive school environment.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a school setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for helping children succeed.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies.
