Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Employment Law Specialist to join our team. As an employment lawyer, you will be advising clients on all aspects of employment law, including performance and absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, restructures, redundancies, unfair dismissals, and exits.

You will also be responsible for drafting employment documentation, such as contracts, policies, and settlement agreements. Your expertise will be invaluable in acting for employers in employment tribunals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on employment law matters, including performance management, disciplinary procedures, and restructuring.
  • Draft employment documentation, such as contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
  • Act for employers in employment tribunals.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years PQE experience in employment law.
  • Good understanding of employment law and up-to-date knowledge of developments in this field.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary between £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas closure.
  • Private health insurance.
  • 5% pension contribution on whole earnings.

About You:

  • Lives within the Yorkshire region or within one hour of our Leeds office.
  • Holds a qualification in Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
  • Happy to consider part-time hours for the right candidate.
