Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner Immunology
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Immunology team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the long-term follow-up/transition pathways for children and young people accessing Immunology care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical care to children and young people with immunological conditions
- Lead the development and implementation of transition pathways for patients moving from paediatric to adult care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audit
Requirements:
- Registered with a core professional group (e.g. NMC, HCPC) and able to undertake Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) training
- Non-medical prescriber qualification and experience
- Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Experience in paediatric immunology or a related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
