About the Role:
Central London Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a caring attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting patients with their rehabilitation goals, working closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care. Your duties will include:
- Assisting patients with exercises and therapy programmes
- Providing emotional support and promoting independence
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A broad general education including at least 5 GCSE level or equivalent qualifications
- NVQ 3 in Health or Social Care or equivalent academic qualification
- Previous experience in elderly care working with older people's rehabilitation
- Excellent literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000-£30,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for career development.
Salary: £27,575 per annum (Band 3)
