Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter with experience in large/multistage API pumps to join our team at ITT Inc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, refurbish, and repair a wide range of rotating pump machinery
  • Identify suitable machining or mechanical repair processes
  • Perform mechanical fitting and assembly to manufacturing drawings
  • Prepare all associated equipment for site installation
  • Work to Quality & H&S processes, and participate in the safety culture in the workshop
  • Resolve issues by thinking creatively, and with a continuous improvement mindset, to meet project milestones

Requirements

  • Skilled Trade Certificate; HNC/HND would be beneficial
  • 5 years of experience with multistage/API pumps
  • Capable of meeting all certification requirements as per customer specifications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with machine tools, such as lathes, drills, presses, and grinders
  • Ability to read complex drawings/diagrams
  • Capable of following all service repair procedures
