Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at a large SEN school in Royston. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support to young adults with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to young adults with complex needs, including toileting, dressing, and maintaining personal appearance.
  • Assist with medical needs and therapies, such as rebound therapy or hydrotherapy.
  • Support young adults in developing independent living skills and promoting their overall well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the school team to ensure the highest standards of care and support.

Requirements:

  • No experience is required, but a willingness to learn and go the extra mile is essential.
  • Ability to guide and encourage supportive independence when possible.
  • Exceptional communication skills and patience.
  • Resilient with a robust and positive nature.
  • Ability to be creative in meeting the needs of the young adults.
