Developmental Support Professional

Abingdon House School seeks a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join its team of specialists. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering evidence-based therapy programs to meet the unique needs of our students.
Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those with ASD, global developmental delay, and other conditions. You will work closely with teaching staff, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of therapy programs into the curriculum.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify individual speech, language, and communication needs
- Designing and delivering 1:1 and group therapy programs tailored to meet the needs of each student
- Collaborating with school staff to develop effective working relationships and communicate progress
- Participating in regular team meetings, IEP updates, and EHCP reviews
