Care Manager-Learning Disabilities

As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective operation of our care services and on-site teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the delivery of quality care by continually assessing residents' needs and developing the service to enhance their quality of life.
- Direct staff management and ensure the smooth running of the care home.
- Take on accountability for the home, ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the safeguarding of service users and deliver optimum levels of care and support.
- Manage the financial effectiveness of the home, maintaining the budget and identifying opportunities to increase profitability and reduce costs.
- Take on an active leadership role, supporting the operation of a 24-hour business.
- Work with the operational support team to organize rotas and ensure effective fulfillment of shifts.
- Develop your people, building your team with the support of a centralized recruitment and training team.
- Facilities and property management of a state-of-the-art care facility, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the home.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a care management role within Supported Living (LD) / Residential Care.
- Highly driven, self-motivated, and able to multitask.
- Managing teams/people and the ability to delegate tasks and performance manage/coach/mentor staff.
- Ideal experience with safeguarding and managing safeguarding cases.
- Flexible and agile approach to work, with the ability to lead from the frontline.
- Strong experience within Learning Disabilities.
- Knowledge/Experience of Positive Behavioural Support implementation would be highly desirable.
- Well-versed with CQC guidelines and a proven track record of delivering positive CQC ratings in previous roles.
- Experienced with internal/external audits.
- Well-organized and able to inspire confidence and trust in others.
- Must be a car driver and car owner.
