Job Description

This Clinical Care Assistant position is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. Working within the Womens Health Unit at Princess of Wales Hospital, you will be responsible for supporting healthcare professionals in their daily tasks, ensuring seamless delivery of services to our patients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families
  • Assisting with basic clinical duties such as taking blood pressure readings, weighing patients, and completing observation charts
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality guidelines
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and care coordination
Requirements and Benefits

To be successful in this role, you should possess relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2, or equivalent. Previous experience in healthcare settings, particularly in clinical environments, is highly desirable. As a Clinical Care Assistant, you can expect a competitive salary range of £19,000 - £21,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and paid annual leave.
