Overview:

Poundland is seeking an accomplished Inventory Planner Specialist to oversee the purchase, intake, and distribution of merchandise across its extensive store estate. This key role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the right products are in the right places at the right times.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) process to balance stock levels with sales demand, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  2. Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure product flow and availability meet store and customer demands.
  3. Analyze and interpret sales data to inform purchasing decisions and optimize stock levels.
  4. Work closely with Buying teams to develop and implement effective range plans, driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  5. Proactively identify opportunities to improve stock efficiency, reducing waste and excess stock.

About the Role:

This Inventory Planner Specialist position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment, contributing to the success of Poundland's business. As a critical member of the buying function, you will play a vital role in shaping the company's merchandise strategy, driving sales growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Salary Estimate: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
