At Colas USA, we are seeking a skilled Highway Maintenance Planner to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing and implementing the Annual Commercial Plan (ACP) for our highway maintenance operations.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering our highway maintenance services in line with our Tender strategies. This will involve ensuring productivity targets are met for all aspects of the service, controlling and managing resource allocation, rostering, and programming to ensure efficient delivery of the service.

You will also be accountable for assessing plant and material needs for work to be carried out, undertaking risk assessments & safety checks, toolbox talks, and audits. Additionally, you will review daily productivity targets to ensure budgets are managed effectively.

In emergency situations, you will assist in responding to incidents, organizing remedial repairs, and coordinating with NCC to restore highways to normal running.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Practical experience developed from the business and industry sector, with strong operational knowledge of highways maintenance.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within Planning.
  • Understanding of the Area 9 network or similar is advantageous.
