**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital and Projects Manager to join our team at Ventula Consulting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of a highways Whole Life Maintenance Plan for a major piece of UK infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an appropriate scenario-based capital and investment strategy for approval by the COO.
  • Consider asset condition, traffic volumes, risk, maintenance innovations, and spend-to-save.
  • Develop a technical and visual testing regime to ensure asset condition is monitored and data is used to inform the plan.
  • Engage with and promote innovation within the wider highways maintenance industry.
  • Proven track record of leading the design, procurement, delivery, and implementation of capital projects of up to £5m in a motorway environment.
  • Proven experience of long-term maintenance planning of complex highways engineering assets.
  • Good communicator – able to effectively engage with external contractors and suppliers at a financial and technical level.

What We Offer:

  • A basic salary up to £75K with an excellent benefits package.
  • 3 days a week near Walsall with the rest remote.
