Motability Operations is currently seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our vehicles meets the highest standards at our Coalville site.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect all stock vehicles entering the preparation department in a timely and efficient manner.
- Identify and document all areas of concern, including scratches, dents, and poor previous repairs.
- Allocate rectification to the correct department, i.e., Bodyshop or SMART repair.
- Liaise with the Bodyshop and SMART department management teams to ensure seamless communication.
- Report Health and Safety issues to shift management immediately.
- Raise issues to management as soon as possible to ensure prompt resolution.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Achieve the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) attributed to this role.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A good level of experience within a Vehicle Inspection/Assessment and/or Bodyshop position.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing requirements.
- Proven organisational skills and effective communication.
- A flexible and 'can-do' approach to work.
- The ability to work fast and efficiently.
- Disciplined and process-driven.
- A fast-paced mindset.
- A keen eye for detail.
