About The Role

Motability Operations is currently seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our vehicles meets the highest standards at our Coalville site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect all stock vehicles entering the preparation department in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify and document all areas of concern, including scratches, dents, and poor previous repairs.
  • Allocate rectification to the correct department, i.e., Bodyshop or SMART repair.
  • Liaise with the Bodyshop and SMART department management teams to ensure seamless communication.
  • Report Health and Safety issues to shift management immediately.
  • Raise issues to management as soon as possible to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Achieve the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) attributed to this role.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A good level of experience within a Vehicle Inspection/Assessment and/or Bodyshop position.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Proven organisational skills and effective communication.
  • A flexible and 'can-do' approach to work.
  • The ability to work fast and efficiently.
  • Disciplined and process-driven.
  • A fast-paced mindset.
  • A keen eye for detail.
