About The Role

Motability Operations is seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Coalville. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our vehicles meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect all stock vehicles entering the preparation department in a timely manner.
  • Identify areas of concern, including scratches, dents, and poor previous repairs.
  • Allocate rectification to the correct department, i.e., Bodyshop or SMART repair.
  • Liaise with the Bodyshop and SMART department management teams.
  • Report Health and Safety issues to shift management immediately.
  • Raise issues to management as soon as possible.
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Achieve the KPIs attributed to this role.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a similar job role, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and adapt your inspection as per required amendments.

  • A good level of experience within a Vehicle Inspection/Assessment and/or Bodyshop position.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Comfortable working alone or as part of a team.
  • Proven organisational skills and effective communicator.
  • Have a flexible and 'can do' approach to work.
  • Ability to work fast and efficiently.
  • Disciplined and process driven.
  • Fast-paced mindset.
  • Keen eye for detail.
