About the Role

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Programme Manager to join their dynamic estates team. As Deputy Director of Estates, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the capital team, providing day-to-day leadership and line management responsibilities. You will also be responsible for project management, coordination, and liaison with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of capital projects.

The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of capital programme management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will also have excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders to manage and deliver user expectations.

Main Responsibilities

Manage and monitor capital projects using complex programme management methodology
Ensure the programme is reporting through the appropriate governance framework with monthly reports that are accurate, on time, quality, and cost
Advise the Head of Capital on issues relating to capital project delivery, by exception reporting
Ensure a comprehensive risk management strategy is adopted for every project within the team's remit
Ensure projects deliver excellent healthcare environments through the application of industry standards and best practice
