About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at DataCareers. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of technical IT projects across various departments, including Infrastructure, Service Delivery, Security, and Dev/Ops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver concurrent ICT projects using industry-recognized approaches such as PRINCE 2.
  • Develop and maintain strong project governance skills and experience.
  • Build and maintain excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Provide technical expertise in IT Architecture, Networks, Cloud Technologies, and Infrastructure from a project delivery perspective.
  • Apply project planning and control techniques, including product/work breakdown structures, baselining, critical path analysis, earned value, resource analysis, conflict resolution, and risk management.
  • Effectively and efficiently deploy resources, including reassessment and reallocation in a dynamic multi-project environment, to achieve optimum results.
  • Demonstrate strong written and communication skills.
  • Show great energy and drive.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of project management experience delivering successful concurrent ICT projects.
  • Strong project governance skills and experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience.
  • Broad technical understanding of IT Architecture, Networks, Cloud Technologies, and Infrastructure from a project delivery perspective.
  • Expertise in project planning and control techniques.
  • Experience in effective and efficient deployment of resources.
  • Knowledge in project risk management.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Great energy and drive.
  • Ability to demonstrate that you have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years to meet the security vetting required for this role.
