Renal Care Specialist

Job Summary:
Diaverum has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join our Eastbourne clinic. As a renal nurse, you will provide patient care according to Diaverum procedures, aiming to increase the quality of life for our patients. A comprehensive professional training programme will be provided to you, including on-the-job training, e-learning, and access to our in-house education programme, the Academy.
Main Duties:
You will be responsible for taking ownership of care programmes for renal patients, following tailored care plans as per Consultant instructions and ensuring clinical activity is appropriately documented in the patient medical record. Your duties will also include, but are not limited to, preparing and monitoring dialysis machines and systems in line with Diaverum processes; reviewing pre and post-haemodialysis care with patients; and working in a multi-disciplinary team.

Competitive Package:
We are offering a full-time position with a starting salary of up to £33,719, based on dialysis experience, with a £3,000 sign-on bonus payable. Overtime is paid at time and a half after completing full-time hours. Requirements:
We are looking for an NMC Registered General Nurse or someone due to qualify in 2024. Familiarity with the NMC code of professional conduct is essential, as is the ability to work autonomously and in a multi-disciplinary team. You will also need excellent English communication skills and a positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care.
