Job Overview:

As an Evaluation Specialist in Public Health, you will be responsible for conducting a mixed-methods process evaluation of parenting health information resources in Wales.

Your primary goal will be to examine how these resources have been implemented, disseminated, and utilized across Wales.

Main Tasks:

  • Collect qualitative data through semi-structured interviews with midwives and health visitors.
  • Analyze both qualitative and quantitative survey data.
  • Ensure that governance and ethical guidelines are integrated into evaluation processes.
  • Collaborate with the Public Health Wales project team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A qualified background in Public Health, particularly in childhood.
  • Awareness of parenting health information from conception through to the early years.
  • Familiarity with the Welsh health and political landscape.
  • Awareness/knowledge of Welsh Language Legislation.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, along with a great location in Bangor, County Down, providing a suitable work-life balance.
