Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse, Midwife, or Allied Health Professional to join our Chief Nursing Officer team and support the delivery of our key priorities.

The role will involve providing support to our Education Development team, including deputizing for the Associate Director of Nursing as required.

It will also play a key part in the development of our New Hospital Programme and representing the CNO voice for the clinical and workforce models.

Main Responsibilities

Lead on the delivery of key projects to support the delivery of our 2024 priorities.

Be part of the New Hospital team, providing the CNO voice to support the clinical and workforce model.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • 1st Level Registered Nurse on the relevant part of the NMC Register
  • Extensive experience in the acute healthcare setting in clinical leadership/clinical management position
  • Articulate with highly developed communication skills, including interpersonal skills, liaison, and negotiation skills, writing, and presentation skills

Desirable Criteria

  • Project management skills
  • Understanding of specialist area
