Senior Care Lead

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Excelcare Holdings. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing physical, emotional, and social support to our residents. You will work alongside and mentor a team of Care Assistants to ensure that outstanding care is delivered at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to residents, promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement person-centred care plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and contribute to the development of care plans.
- Engage in meaningful activities with residents and promote their well-being.
Requirements:
- Two years' experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant with an NVQ 2/3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
- Experience in a nursing or care home or as a home care worker.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- Knowledge and practice of working with people suffering from dementia is desirable.
