Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn about various insurance products, including property and casualty, life, health, and commercial insurance.
  • Assist senior brokers in managing client portfolios, including processing policy applications, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Conduct research and analysis on insurance policies and coverage options to provide appropriate recommendations to clients.
  • Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations for clients.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate terms, rates, and coverage for clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance products.
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills in insurance brokerage.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities effectively.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop a career in the insurance industry.
  • Prior experience in customer service or sales is a plus.
