Commercial Insurance Broker Role

We are excited to be working with one of the UK's most successful insurance brokerages, a company that is renowned for its expertise and innovative approach to commercial insurance.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Insurance Broker to join a dynamic team and take on a challenging and rewarding position.

As a Commercial Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for overseeing a book of commercial insurance clients across a range of industry sectors. You will be a point of referral to more junior members of the team and will use your expertise and experience to help with queries and occasional training/mentoring.

You will look to identify opportunities to grow the book through offering relevant cross sales and referral leads. This will involve liaising with Underwriters to help secure the retention (renewals) of clients and identifying new markets, schemes, and other opportunities to help grow the business.

This role requires thorough commercial insurance knowledge of at least 2 years in commercial insurance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for growing a book of commercial clients through new business / arranging policies for new clients
  • Liaise with Underwriters to help secure the retention (renewals) of clients
  • Identify new markets, schemes, and other opportunities to help grow the business
