Cloud Support Specialist

Job Summary:

Cloud Decisions is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Support Specialist to join our team. As a Cloud Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support for complex cloud and infrastructure issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the final escalation point for 3rd line technical issues in cloud and infrastructure environments.
  • Work closely with Technical Architects and Project Engineers to understand solution designs and provide input on best practices.
  • Resolve escalated issues for offshore financial service organizations and global enterprises, ensuring all solutions are aligned with best practices.
  • Provide technical support and expertise in Microsoft Cloud (Azure, M365, AVD), Server Infrastructure, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure environments.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical support role, working with enterprise organizations to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve cloud and infrastructure issues.
  • Proficiency in managing Azure services (e.g., VMs, Azure AD, Azure Backup).
  • Azure Networking (e.g., Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway).
  • Azure Storage solutions (e.g., Blob Storage, Azure Files, Disk Storage).
  • Azure Governance and management tools (e.g., Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center).
  • Management of M365 services (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams).
  • Security and compliance in M365 (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Compliance Center).
  • Integration of M365 with on-premises infrastructure.
  • Management of AVD environments.
  • User profile management and optimization (e.g., FSLogix).
  • AVD security and compliance best practices.
  • Proficiency in managing Windows Server and Linux environments.
  • Virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware vSphere).
  • Active Directory design and management.
  • Server clustering and high availability solutions.
