Key responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  2. Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  3. Train and develop junior staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  4. Order supplies and equipment as needed, while maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  5. Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  6. Manage kitchen operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and staff supervision.
