Job Description

Avon Support Ltd is seeking a compassionate and patient Support Worker to join our team at the Community Hub. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and supporting individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to individuals, assisting with daily activities, personal care, and social interaction.
  • Facilitate engaging activities and encourage participation, maintaining a safe and positive environment for all clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients' families and healthcare providers, ensuring seamless support.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and people skills, with a strong desire to help others.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, with experience working with challenging behaviors preferred.
