At Kenyon Block Consultants Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Enforcement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the range of legislation enforced by Trading Standards.

The estimated annual salary for this role is £45,000-£55,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to conduct sound regulatory and enforcement practice to professional standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills, being a competent user of all Microsoft packages and the ability to use bespoke corporate packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assess goods and services to ensure compliance with relevant law.
  • Conduct inspections and searches of relevant premises, either by prior arrangement or unannounced, including weights and measures inspections.
  • Respond to and investigate reports and complaints received under relevant criminal and civil law.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Trading Standards or equivalent is desirable.
  • Excellent numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
  • Full clean current driving licence.
