We are seeking a highly skilled Research Officer to join our Competition Practice in London.

About the Role

In this role, you will assist law firms and their clients, or judges and regulators, in the context of investigations into alleged infringements and regulatory reviews of mergers and acquisitions.

  • You will conduct literature research and data analysis, spanning from simple descriptive analysis to more complex econometric analysis;
  • Collaborate with your project teams and be responsible for your own pieces of analysis;
  • Interpret the results of your analysis and present your findings to the rest of the team and clients.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BA/ BSc and a Master's or PhD in Economics or a related discipline with exceptional academic records;
  • Enjoy quantitative research and programming using quantitative software;
  • Be comfortable working in Excel, R, or Stata;
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken; fluency in another language would be useful but is not essential.
