About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Consultant to join our team in Presales Service Consultancy. As a key member of our Service Relationship Management organisation, you will be responsible for engaging with customers to determine their service needs and developing bespoke solutions to meet those requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and presenting service models to customers to enhance their technology solutions
  • Partnering with customers to understand their business needs and providing expert advice on service capabilities
  • Generating new opportunities to sell Vodafone Support Services through proactive demand creation activities
  • Collaborating with Solution and Sales colleagues to develop comprehensive service offerings for customers
  • Providing written responses to tenders and customer clarification questions, as well as input into commercial models and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs)

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A background in pre-sales and/or service management, with a strong understanding of ITIL v3 or V4
  • The ability to capture and manage customer requirements, using additional resources where necessary
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both internally and externally
  • An agile mindset and willingness to adapt to changing client and market needs
  • Problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and initiative

What We Offer

As a Business Development Consultant at Vodafone UK, you can expect a competitive salary of around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
