Maintenance Engineer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join Yolk Recruitment in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will have significant experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing, with a strong understanding of good engineering practices. They will be able to work under pressure, accurately and timely reporting skills, and drive, enthusiasm, and self-motivation with ability to motivate others.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify failure modes of plant equipment and return it to operation safely and within a reasonable timescale.
- Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
- Liaise with engineering day teams to identify and resolve long-term engineering issues.
- Locate spare parts using the maintenance management system and collect and return spares to stores.
- Identify failure modes of electrical equipment and make recommendations to prevent further failures.
- Obtain maintenance schedules from the maintenance management system and feed back work carried out.
- Carry out preventive maintenance routines, including collaborating with other engineers to ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed in line with scheduling.
Salary: £49,500 per annum.
Requirements:- Significant experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing.
- Drive, enthusiasm, and self-motivation with ability to motivate others.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Accurate and timely reporting skills.
- Completed an apprenticeship as a Maintenance Engineer.
- Working knowledge of good engineering practices.
- NVQ level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent City & Guilds or HNC) or equivalent.
