Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the dental surgeons during various procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
  • Provide chairside support to enhance patient comfort and care during treatments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information about treatments and aftercare.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
  • Support the dental team in administrative tasks as needed, utilising IT skills for record management.
  • Maintain an organised and clean work environment to promote efficiency within the practice.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
  • A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to delivering high standards of service.
  • Familiarity with dental software systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided where necessary.
