Mechanical Shift Engineer - Continental Shift

Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer to join their team in a commercial building in Wembley. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical bias, with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical plant, including pumps, motors, seals, and bearings.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on air conditioning systems, including air handling units and fan coil units.
  • Conduct water treatment checks and ensure proper dosing.
  • Carry out basic electrical duties, such as lamp changes.
  • Assist with general building fabric maintenance.
  • Escort specialist subcontractors as required.
Requirements:
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications, such as C&G or NVQ.
  • Proven experience in commercial building maintenance.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
