The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wildlife Cybercrime Strategy Director to join our team in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the fight against wildlife cybercrime.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience of leading dispersed teams and influencing activities without direct management authority. A minimum of 5 years of working experience in project management is required.

We are looking for someone who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively is also essential.

This role involves developing and implementing strategies to tackle wildlife cybercrime, working closely with law enforcement agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships with these partners and contribute to the development of international best practices in this field.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to tackle wildlife cybercrime
  • Leading a dispersed team and influencing activities without direct management authority
  • Working closely with law enforcement agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders
  • Contributing to the development of international best practices in wildlife cybercrime

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree preferred. MS/MA degree in biological, social science, public policy, economics, forensic science, criminology or related field ideal
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in project management
  • Strong background in project management, with experience of leading dispersed teams and influencing activities without direct management authority
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
