SRC is working with a leading global manufacturer of Performance Chemicals, Advanced Polymer Technologies and Performance Materials. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Warrington Site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a responsible mechanical engineer/design authority on engineering decisions, ensuring all assets operate in full compliance with internal and external statutory safety standards, supporting engineering work for projects, and covering all aspects of mechanical scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all technical requirements such as project specifications, data sheets etc. are in full compliance with project and company requirements, standardised processes and are delivered to the highest technical quality standards.
  • Carry out technical evaluations, including risk-based evaluation of complex engineering issues, resolution of mechanical related matters with significant project execution and/or commercial impact to ensure optimum outcomes to meet technical and execution expectations.
  • Expertise about static equipment is a must, as well as rotating equipment and packages such as steam boilers, pressure reduction stations, cooling towers.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience working in a COMAH/High Hazard site.
  • Mechanical Engineering expertise.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously.

About the Role:

  • We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 per annum.
