Regional Mechanical Specialist

GAP Group LTD is looking for a skilled Regional Mechanical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our regional team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient servicing and maintenance of pump services equipment within our fleet.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in pump engineering, with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served. They will also possess sound knowledge of pumps, hoses, and generators, as well as strong attention to detail and accuracy.

You will travel across regional depots and customer sites to identify and repair faults or damage to equipment, including pumps, hoses, and generators. You will also update service records accurately and provide advice, servicing, maintenance, and repair for dewatering and sewerage pump applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a pump engineer role
  • Relevant mechanical qualification or time served
  • Sound knowledge of pumps, hoses, and generators
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
