At Kate+Co, we are seeking a skilled Commissioning and Procurement Specialist to lead our regional commissioning efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating and reviewing regional contract arrangements, ensuring effective management of team budgets and implementation of financial management systems.

**Key Responsibilities**
-----------------------

* Evaluate and review regional contract arrangements, including pricing and quality outcomes.
* Work closely with Finance officers to ensure effective budget management and implementation of financial systems.
* Keep abreast of national and local policy initiatives, ensuring familiarity with relevant legislation, research, and specialist advice.

**Requirements**
------------

* Significant experience of strategic commissioning in a local authority or health setting, including strategy development, market management, procurement, contract negotiation, and commercial-related activity.
* Substantial experience of managing commissioning and procurement processes in a health or social care setting.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
