We are currently recruiting for a Procurement and Compliance Specialist to join our passionate and driven team based at our client's site in Ipswich.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement Transformation, the Procurement and Compliance Specialist will focus on compliance assurance, contract, and risk management within OCS UK & Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency and value of the procurement function.
  • Deliver solutions to improve quality and increase compliance within the supply chain.
  • Lead on the development of a risk management framework.
  • Develop effective governance and compliance processes and procedures to support procurement transformation.
  • Ensure risk management is embedded into all procurement processes.
  • Develop mechanisms to identify, analyse, prioritise, mitigate and record risks.
  • Work closely with the Procurement and Fleet analyst to create clear presentations of risk and compliance data.
  • Establish the legitimacy of new vendors and ensure compliance with all policy, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Influence stakeholders to ensure the adoption of procurement policy and procedures.
  • Identify compliance issues that require addressing and report them to procurement SLT.
  • Support the procurement team with the implementation of a Source to Contract system.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a procurement environment.
  • Demonstrable Contract Management and Compliance Management skills.
  • A clear understanding of how to assess, manage and mitigate risk.
  • Experience developing or improving policies and processes.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of supplier/customer performance measurement.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working in FM Procurement.
  • Be keenly interested in procurement operations, ESG, and procurement governance.
  • Have a flexible and positive attitude towards work.
