About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Production Workshop Lead to join our team at WeRecruit Auto Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the running of our Production Workshop as Bodyshop Manager, overseeing site and employee performance, safety, quality, and customer service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Productivity Management: Oversee the productivity of the workshop, ensuring high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Quality Control: Maintain the level of quality across all workshop operations, including comprehensive quality control checks.
  • Documentation: Ensure that all required documentation is completed comprehensively and accurately.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the Production Director on constraints to productivity and maintenance.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain high levels of housekeeping across the workshop.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure that statutory requirements are fulfilled by operators.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a body shop environment.
  • Strong people management experience, with the ability to lead a team to deliver results.
  • Good attention to detail and comfortable using MS Office.
  • Strong planning and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.
