Salary: £62,000 basic + Bonus (dependent on experience)

The successful candidate will lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence, and making informed decisions to optimize workshop operations. With strong communication skills, they will collaborate closely with the Production Director to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Workshop Performance Management: Drive productivity, maintain quality standards, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  2. Safety and Quality Control: Enforce strict safety protocols and quality control measures to minimize errors and downtime.
  3. Team Leadership: Motivate and develop a high-performing team, promoting a positive work environment and encouraging open communication.
  4. Problem-Solving: Analyze constraints to productivity and maintenance, implementing targeted solutions to address these challenges.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Industry Experience: Proven track record as a site or bodyshop manager in the automotive industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong people management experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to deliver results.
  • Attention to Detail: Good attention to detail and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Planning and Time Management: Excellent planning and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
