We are seeking a skilled and experienced tutor to join our team at the London Borough of Brent. As a digital skills tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to students of varying skill levels, focusing on essential digital skills, cyber security, software and apps development, graphics and animation, and web development.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of learners and contribute to their development in the digital skills arena. As a tutor, you will be expected to create engaging and interactive learning experiences, utilizing your expertise in digital technology and media. Your role will involve working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements
  • Experience in delivering digital skills courses to students with varying skill levels
  • Confidence in one or more areas of digital technology and media, including essential digital skills, cyber security, software and apps development, graphics and animation, and web development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners and colleagues
  • Knowledge and experience of RaRPA and accreditation with external examination boards
  • Desirable: fully qualified teacher with a PGCE or Cert Ed, and subject-specific qualifications
