We are seeking a Digital Skills Tutor to support the appointment of a Digital Skills Tutor, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Key responsibilities include designing and delivering courses in the appropriate subject area, engaging disadvantaged and vulnerable Islington residents through effective assessment tools, innovative course and lesson planning, production of resources and appropriate teaching techniques.

Responsibilities also include working with learners to promote regular attendance, punctuality, and progression to further learning and employment. A Level 3 teaching qualification, such as PTLLS or AET, is acceptable when presented with relevant teaching and industry experience, alongside minimum level two literacy and numeracy skills and substantial adult teaching experience in community or FE college settings.

As a Digital Skills Tutor, you will work closely with Islington residents, promoting digital skills and employability through engaging courses and innovative teaching techniques. We require the successful candidate to have an enhanced DBS and be available to work immediately or at short notice.
