About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Personal Development team as a Personal Development Group Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work across both Peterborough College and Stamford College, supporting the Assistant Principal for Student Experience and Support in leading a team of Student Mentors.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the intent, implementation, and impact of the Personal Development Programme. This programme is designed to prepare students for future success and their next steps in life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Personal Development Programme across both college sites.
  • Support and guide a team of Student Mentors in planning and delivering weekly Personal Development sessions.
  • Provide front-line pastoral support for students.
  • Track and monitor student attendance and engagement.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure a cohesive and effective Personal Development Strategy.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Level 3 teaching qualification.
  • Experience with teaching and assessment.
  • Maths and English qualifications at Level 2 (minimum).
  • Experience in leadership and management is desirable.
